I have had my 150 mariner in the shop twice in the last 3 months. the first mech.overhauled the carbs with no success the boat was idling rough and will not run but 3500 rpms and will barly plain out. i took it back he checked again called and claimed it was ready with same results.i took it to another boat shop and dropped it off and they also overhauled the carbs took it to lake with no results same deal as mention in the begining. i asked the mech if they check the stater they said yes they checked all componets stater,trigger,coils,etc,..i am now working on it i first found the wires 2 ea from the stater to the rectifier bare about 2 inches and rubbing in the bundle... COULD THIS BE THE PROBLEM?????..THEY IS NO EVIDENCE OF THEM TESTING THE STATER..
