150 hp carb rebuild

I rebuilt my carbs and -now-have leaking bowls can anyone inform me on the proper procedure. note;; that i have poly plastic carb bodies 1992 evinrude. i completed the rebuild job and the engine is constantly stalling i have to depress the prime {choke} or it will stall expecially when i try to put it in gear

float bowls have been known to warp remove one and check with a straight edge<br />if one is warpped i would replace all 6

Does anyone know what the bowl screws should be torked to thx

If youre sure its a 92 it should be a 60 degree looper. Are you sure the leak isnt from that little "BB" in the side?<br /><br />As for the running lean -- are you sure the idle and mid range jets didnt get mixed up? <br /><br />Why did you have to rebuild the carbs? (What was the original problem?)

150exen its leaking between the bowl and rubber gasket. also i checked the parts manual the idle oraface and intermediate oraface on all 6 carbs are all in the right place. re; the origional problem is that i had only 4300 rpm all cyl compression test at 100 except top 2 at 95

Did you install new kits?<br /><br />Is the larger numbered jet on the top or bottom?

i will check today note;i have to keep the primer depressed otherwise it will stall runs for a short while at the dock then the ball gets soft . i am looking for a air leak now.note i just replaced the vro 'new' thanks!

When the bulb goes soft and the engine starts to die, what happens when you pump the bulb?

then the engine continues to die and stalls expecially at a low rpm
