After all day fishing trip on the way back in, I got a constant beep, beep beep alarm on one of my two engines. Checked for obstructions on the primary water intakes and cleared a little vegetation. Thought we might have overheated. Got the motor home and it is still giving me the alarm. Other engine is fine. Any troubleshooting tips????

An intermittant beep is oil alarm. A steady beep is overheating alarm. I'm assuming this is oil injected.

Re: 150 Mariner Engine Alarm

You are right....They are both '96 oil injected with remote tanks. I just topped off the tanks the night before. Do you think it may be a bad sensor or sending unit??? Is there an easy check for either? The other engine gives me a constant alarm when ever it feels like it. We usually just make bets for how long it take to quit. Sometimes I can shake the wiring harness behind the dash and it will quit. Not so with the oil alarm. Got the new used boat about 6 months ago and this is the firsttrouble I've had. New to the site, but I've read tons of threads
