Re: 150 txrc carbs

you do know that on some motors the different carbs have different size jets in them and some even have different settings, so if you did not keep track of all the parts as to where they came from you may have a problem with that.

Do you have a manual to see what all the proper adjusting procedures are after reinstalling the carbs?

yes i have the manual, i have confirmed that all jets are in correct placement,i have never had to replace a carb b/fore, very frustrating trying to figure this one out, one out of three is still good , do i buy 2 new ones? look for a set of used ones? i will try one more thing, replace the bowl gasket , carbs were ultrasonically cleaned and throughly gone over, maybe just bad carbs and some ethanol goo in a very small place thanks e

may try cleaning again, I have seen where it takes a few times to get it all out and working properly

I just went through this with my excel. I have to do them three times to finally get it going right. I soaked them over night then blew them out with air and carb cleaner. I have done about 30-35 carb rebuilds in my life never with this many problems. Finally I got it going, so frustrating I feel your pain.
