150hp v6 efi mercury motor problems starting

i am having problems firing up my boat. it's a 18ft. deep v fiberglass fishing boat year 2000. I have not had the money to have it running for past 2 years and as a result has not been started. i put new gas in the tank charged batterys checked spark plugs and changed oil. when i hooked it up and tryed to fire it up all it is doing is cranking and cranking till battery dies(sounded like it wanted to fire up but just wouldnt) have not checked fuel filter, pump (i hear pump prime). where is the air intake on this also any tips on what i can do to fix it.

Check to see if you have sparkat the plugs, if not check to see if kill switch has been pulled. Its possible that the filter on electric pump could be clogged as the fuel in VST tank is mixed with oil and can gum up the insides of the VST.

got it started thanks for the help. i cleaned up all my plugs (almost back to new looks) emptyed old gas in tank. put new gas in. cleaned out some fuel lines and found a nice clog in the line. replaced and hooked it up to hose. fired right up and ran like a champ after a few years of sitting. thanks for the help. i am also recarpeting the whole entire boat. thank you for the help. faztbullet. your hit the nail on the head. (first time i have ever worked on a boat by myself)
