15hp evinrd carburator broke AMAZING!!!!!

where can i get wird parts for an evinrude 15hp 88"<br />i need the little plastic part that when you turn the accelerator know it pushes the carburator pin .....in other words, the part that moves located right under the wheel that turns fast when the motor is running.....this is sooo hard to explain without pictures i hope you understand what i am talking about<br />....well...where can i get parts like these ones<br />thanks

OK, this must be the throttle cam you're talking about. It's the part that bolts up to the magneto plate, and the throttle linkage with the little wheel and bellcrank rides upon, yes? <br /><br />Or, is it the little wheel and that bellcrank linkage that pushes on the carb throttle shaft?<br /><br />You may be able to still order one from a dlr, you'll want to bring in the model # and ser # off the metal plate located on the transom clamp assy.<br /><br />If not, maybe someone here has a parts motor with that piece on it; or try eBay.<br /><br />HTH and Good Luck.........ed

It's either the throttle cam or throttle cam follower. If it's mounted to the carb, it's the follower and probably what is broke. I carry these in stock cause they do break. Alex, go to your local John/Rude dealer and tell them what you got or take the broke one with you. I'm sure they can fix you up. And be sure to ask for help on setting the cam follower to the cam.
