15HP Mariner - What Year?

I have a 15hp Marnier and unsure of the year. On the freeze out plug it says 029448. I'm trying to get a new prop and what to make sure of the proper year. I ordered a Solas 9.25x11 eight spline but it doesn't seem to fit onto the shaft.

Any Help would be great
