15hp Mercury 2 stroke misfire

I have a mid 90’s - 15HP Mercury 2 stroke outboard that misfires when reving

it idles great but misfires on rev / accelerate.

Compression is 10lbs difference between the two.

it has a new coil, new water pump, etc

Seems to be on lower cylinder?

thoughts?

That is a lean sneeze. Open the mix screw an 1/8 of a turn at a time until it goes away. Also make sure your thermostat is working. You also need to set the mix when the motor is warm and idling in gear.

Above great advice and most likely. If not, check the fuel pump diaphragm.
