Hello,<br />I have a 85 force that I want to sell and wanting to buy a 4 stroke. what would the write motor for this boat? I'm looking at a 05 60hp yamaha. what would be a good price?<br />Any info would be great.<br />Thanks<br />Adam

I would not replace it with nothing less tha an 85 force, otherwise you will be compromising the hull dynamics and not perform up to manufacureres specs and recieve poor performance and handling,

Force rated their hp at the crank, not the prop. So the Force were slightly over rated compared to their prop rated competition. Get a 80 to 90hp replacement, and you should get better performance.
