just picked up a 16 foot alum jon boat and found that the last guy to put a casting deck and floor in it used CDX plywood so i pulled it all out and will rino line the inside to stop or prevent any leaks. Before i replace any thing my question is ...should i use PT plywood for the floor ? I was thinking that 5/4 PT deck boards might be better i can hand pick the dry ones and it should weigh less then the sheet of plywood. then put carpet over it and only use plywood for the upper deck where the trolling motor will be mounted. any input would be great

The pt wood will corrode the alum. if not sealed. Use ACX and coat it in either epoxy or glass it with mat and poly resin
Also PT wood is way heavy

Correct, don't use "green" pressure treated wood or it will eat your boat. AQC treated plywood is aluminum safe (it's what aluminum boat MFG's use), but finding it can be difficult. It has a yellowish/orange tinge to the wood.

If i'm not mistaken, I recall it being pretty pricey too.

the inside will be rino lined and if i paint the wood there will be no contact with the hull and the 5/4 deck board is lighter then plywood

You might have some trouble getting it to stick unless the wood is totally dry.. But I would just epoxy a piece of acx
