[FONT=&quot]Their twin?s right? Call state up and say your son lost his license, state mails you duplicate, problem solved until other twin gets enough experience/confidence to retake the test. ;)

What IS he really interested in? Perhaps there is a hobby or activity that he would be interested in strongly enough to be able to drive himself there?
I agree it's a confidence thing, and maybe spending time alone with his brother in the car would help, as long as his brother isn't ripping him about it and making him feel worse.

I was personally born with my foot mashin the gas! 69 Nova when I was 14!

Well

For example having my wife take are childern to the test was and automatic FAIL because she is so good at making them nervous

Sometimes it is just better to pay for a few lessons and let the Pro take them for the test as are childern may not be as a ease with us as we think :)

Re: 16 Year old not interested in driving

I'm amazed that this is so common among youngsters today, I had no idea..
Neither did I, and I'm 15.

I don't know what I would do if I couldn't do the things that many mentioned not being able to get their kids to do. Personally, I am about to eat myself alive waiting the next 28 days or so before I can get mine.

I could not get either of my boys interested in auto mechanics, carpentry or any farming.
I would go nuts if I couldn't do all that (well, not being around farms is driving me nuts as it is, but not much I could do about that when we moved into town). But, if I didn't have a shop to work with wood, metal, auto and boat mechanics, I would certainly go nuts.
