Looking at a 1997 1600 Pro Sport. Any owners out there have any issues with this model? It's in pretty good shape, has a 90 HP Mariner, and is about 10K. Thanks for any info.

I have this model. Not a bad boat. Pretty light. Would rather have a fisherman model like my last Lund though.

Re: 1600 pro sport

We went through the same delimma (Pro Sport or Fisherman), except we were buying new. We opted for the Fisherman. The transom is 25" high vs 20" on the Pro Sport, but what really convinced me was the ease of resale of the Fisherman. Used Lund Fisherman boats are in high demand and sell quickly where we live (upper midwest). Very smooth and stable.

Having said that, the Pro Sport is still a good boat. It's just that you might regret not getting a Fisherman instead.
