I have what I believe to be a '71 CC Lancer that has the outboard mounted in a "well". I am looking for any information about this boat. Hull ID is ORFO 17 0026V if this helps. I am curious about # of hulls made and some design details as I have restored as much as I can to useable condition. Aside from the motor, the boat appears to be about 90% original.
I am specifically interested in what hp they were recommended to have (currently 100 hp but max rated is 115 hp) and what the configuration around the engine inside the well was/should be. I think there was supposed to be a skirt around the shaft to keep out water but not sure.
