99% of starter problems are not the starter. it is weak battery or connections, bad cables. have the battery load tested at auto parts store (free). clean until shiney, all end of battery cables, battery, solenoid both sides, and the ground cable to the block. bet it works afterwards, if battery is good. connectiong must be tight, even on battery, no just finger tight.
