I have a '95 Sea Swirl with a 175 hp Black Max on it.

Does anyone have or know a link to an electronic version of the manual for this motor? I need to winterize it and want to make sure it is done correctly.

Or, if you are familiar with this motor, can you explain the specifics for this?

Thanks

Real easy to winterize. Put fuel stabilizer into the gas tank. Enough for the gas that is there. Run the motor on the flusher for a few minutes to get the stabilizer into the carbs. Fog the carbs (six throats) and try to stall her. Shut her off if she won't stall. Now let her drain for a few minutes and hit the zerc grease fittings. Now change the gear oil and spray the block with wd-40 or something like it. You can change the water seperator (in the boat) any time, just do not forget.

OK - Change "Carbs" to "Throttle Bodies". As long as it is not a Direct Injection, the procedure is OK.

I am glad that I read this post. I forgot to grease any fittings. I have a 175 HP carbed Merc 1994. How many grease fittings am I looking for?
