Hello everyone,<br />I'm considering purchasing a used 2000 model year, 175hp 2 stroke yamaha. Is this a good engine or not so good. Is yamaha the type of company that stands behind their products?. I'm currently using a Mercury Force 120 HP(500 hrs of salt water use, runs perfect. I do a lot of the maintence myself. Please no Force comments- I've heard most of them) and have been very happy. Good engine with good support. If I switch, I'll use it on a 22' Trophy walkaround. I'm considering switching for the extra HP. Any wisdom on this product, is appreciated.
