Prop walk/steer. Common suggestions are using a 4-blade prop and/or lowering the motor just a little. So... that only leaves one thing for you to do...

Yes, but the entire reason for getting a 4 blade prop, and the jackpate was so that I could set this boat up to run as shallow as possible. Plus, the boat has a 27" transom, and I noticed this pull rot from day one in the stock position, and with the 3 blade prop.
The fact that it rides so straight and steers goods when trimmed up I'm not worried, but it is a mystery.

You give up one thing to get another; that is how it works. You want to buzz the surface with your prop in the shallows, then you give up some prop grip.

There are thousands of examples of this.

The little trim tab under the AV plate.... has anyone mentioned that?

Well I finally have the boat set up with everything I needed. Just completed the installation of the MK220D on board charger which I mounted up in between the front storage compartments. Also I installed two Optima D34m deep cycle marine batteries under the centre console. Also on the bow is a 24 Volt Minn Kota Terrova 80 lb (45" shaft) thrust motor with I Pilot gps. The motor is easily removed due to the mounting plate accessory. The boat now cruises quite comfortably at 45-50 km/h at mid range throttle. Last day of May! I hope to enjoy many days on the water this summer.
Happy Boating!
