I'm looking at a 19?? Montgomery Wards Sea King 3.5 to push my 14' tinny. Right now I'm using a trolling motor with 2 batteries and there's been times I've barely made it back. I'm not looking for light speed, but I would assume the 3.5 would push a little faster than the trolling motor? I like the built in fuel tank because I really don't go far, but far enough for the batteries to drain. What would be a fair price to offer on this motor? Is it worth buying? What year is it?3.5 Sea King.JPG

Reg, Price depends upon the condition of the motor. Have the owner start it up and see how it runs. If it runs really good, start out offeing around $100. I have a 2hp Johnson that moves my 14' boat really well, so this engine would work well on your boat. It looks to be a 70's model but you will need the model number to be sure. If it runs good and you can get it for a good price buy it.

Thank you sir. Think I'll start at $75.
