19' Tritoon - 60hp? Crazy??

Assuming we aren't talking extremes, I always thought a larger center would help the boat lean into the corners. Many tri-toon pictures I've seen document that fact. I know conventional 2 tube toons will lean to the outside, making for some pretty uncertain moments when pushed hard with a bigger motor. I know our 24' w/Honda 90 will do that for sure!

So I'm wondering what your thought is here?

Don’t get me wrong, I am firmly in the camp of tritoons can go faster and turn better than pontoons. However, I believe that having all three logs on the same plane is the way to go. With a larger diameter or elliptical center tube the outside tube will lift out of the water in a turn. IF the outside tube should catch a wave or wake, it will jerk the boat around faster than the driver can react.

Interesting. I've never read about or heard anyone discussing that ever happening to them.
