Re: 1940 Starcraft

Thank you for posting the pictures. Yesterday they finished sand blasting the inside and today we primered the inside. I'm hoping to spray inside paint tommorow but we are expecting bad weather. So maybe Sunday. Then I have to go back to school.

Anyone notice the storage boxes we built?

After seeing the pics I am absolutely sure it is a SC. The brackets where the seats mount are exactly the same as in my 1964 Jet! Love it.

It?s a thing of beauty. Great job so far guys. What?s the carpet for? To keep the boat clean while you?re working on it. Must be nice to be able to have carpet on a boat. Around here we get so much rain it would be wet 12 months a year. Any wood under it would rot in 2 years

The carpet is going to cover the wood boards and storage boxes we built, the wood as been water sealed, primed, and going to be painted when we paint the inside of boat.

I don't recall you all doing the Gluvit dance. Is it a serious leak?

Yes when every thing was done I went down to a private ramp and droped it in, just playing in the channel about one pass around I noticed water in the floor the trailer still being backed down in the water I headed straight for it, then realizing the 3hp motor didnt have enough power to get up on it. lol We have to pull the back out of it and find the leak.
