1941 6hp Roper outboard

Has anybody ever heard of a Roper outboard motor? Are they a collectable outboard?

Hi Bear,<br />I'm sure some other manufactuer made it, but who is the question. Maybe if reelfisherman would post the Model and Serial #, it would give us a better idea.(Hint, Hint) All we can do is wait! Unless it's a refridgerator mounted on a Boat, I sure don't know what it is. I know Roper makes lots of appliances.
