Progress report... Sparing y'all from all the grinding photos...have about 15 hours into grinding this far have about 2 left near the bow where the old stringers were.. Had all my materials ready so I cut out and test fitted my transom..and that took awhile because this old boat has a curve instead of a flat transition from the transom skin to the hull floor. Tested my clamping system and all..cut out my new stringers and buttered all the wood..Transom and all the stringers are now wrapped in CSM and on my next available time I will install the transom..that should allow me to be able to bed my stringers ony next day off and tab in the transom and fill the edges with PB and stuff... After that it should be a fairly quick and straight forward build...I've fpud theost difficult part is fabricating and engineering around the the old stuff..im guessing at 6 weeks into this I prolly could've built one from scratch
