Hello, i have a motor that is a 1947-51 3.3hp i'm really curious about the access to parts for this motor. I bought it to fish the flats with but i need reliability. can i still get parts for this motor and where? Such as water pump, carb kit, prop n hub, plug wires etc... or have i landed something that a collector would appreciate more? again the motor is a 1947-51 evinrude. It is a 3.3 hp. Its numbers are

4423-73330.

There is a number on the carb.

202017

'Afternoon Davidbennet,

'51 hmmmm,... lets see.
Why don't you give this a look
http://www.maxrules.com/fixtuneitup.html

As well, search on the web. Parts are aout there. Some available at Napa (but you'll need OMC part number).

Old Rudes (if taken care of), in my never-to-be-humble-opinion, are GREAT.

Good Luck
HAVE FUN!

Im not an expert on your motor.I can tell you
it may be over the line on the tough side for parts. On the other hand those motors are pretty simple and reliable.I think there are some parts out there but may be hard to find.www.aomci.org
may be some help.
If you could move up to at least a 52 parts improve tremendously.Impellers are ther same 52-78,Coils from 50-76,carb parts 52-67.head gaskets
57-68 If it is a presentable good running motor
you could sell it on ebay, look for similar motors see how they sell pay close attention to condition and shipping options, costs and precautions.
