Hi,
I'm restoring a 3.3 1947 SporTwin that has a siezed leg. No one seems to have a replacement leg so I have diesel in this one to soak off the rust in case that's the cause. Is there a better way to unsieze this thing. It would be a shame to give up on this motor now. It runs great when I fire it up for a few seconds without the leg and it's repainted to original condition if not better.
Eric

Eric,
I don't know whether you've found it or not, but there's a site named Antique Outboard Motor Club, Inc.(aomci.org) They specialize in motors such as yours. Some frequent this site as well. Good luck.
