1947 Montgomery Ward (Gale) Sea King model 74gg9006

Hey guys! I have picked up an old Sea King to restore and use. I haven't been able to find much documentation or tips/tricks regarding this model. To my understanding, it hasn't run in years. I'm pretty good mechanically, but would appreciate any information (owners or repair manuals). In addition, if you have one of these restored, I would love to see the finished product! I will post photos of the restoration as I progress... Thank you all!

3hp made by Gale Products Division of OMC. It is a Gale model 1W4. There is some information on similar (but 1951-up) motors at http://www.richardlpaquette.ca/GaleProducts1951-1963ServiceManual.pdf
There are lots of them around and still running.
Somebody at the Antique Outboard Club probably has a picture of a restored one. www.aomci.org.
I have six 3hp Gales, but all newer than yours.
