1948 Johnson TD 20, 5 hp ,Greece, running down outside of motor shaft

I have a lot of grease running down the outside of the shaft that goes into the water, I know nothing about how to fix this or to take the motor apart, where the motor meets the shaft I have a lot of grease that comes out and runs down. Just what would I need to do to fix this? where might I find parts? sorry, I'm unable to get my pictures to upload so you might see what I am talking about. Thank you.

Yep, motors of that era were less than "green". Nature of the beast. Might find it's not grease, but rather accumulated unburned oil mix.
