195? rude Big Twin 35HP Year Help

Hi,I am trying to determine the year of my dads Big Twin. Model number is 35753H,and the serial is E0006358.Dad remembers it as a 1957,it does have electric start.I will make a project of getting it going again after at least 20 years of non use. Needs to get back on his Chris Craft kit boat he built with his brother 50 years ago.That beautiful boat currently sports a 1980's suzuki 50.Can't bear to see it. Thanks for any help with the year. OOPS sorry guys I had inadvertently wrote down the model and s/n of our 77 35hp.Plus I see now a nice listing in the faq section that I will use when I track down the correct model number for the Big Twin. Thx

The 35 first appeared in 57,ran through to 59,becoming a 40 in 60.

I scanned and saved a non-factory service manual that I used to overhaul a 1959 Johnson 35. It covers all 30-40HP motors built by OMC from 1956-1964.
