1950 Evinrude 7.5 HP Fleetwin

Hello Everyone, I am restoring my fathers 1950 7.5 hp fleetwin. Will the drive shaft from a 1951 7.5 fit it?

Yes, if your 1950 is serial number 02579 or higher. If lower, "maybe". There was some sort of a change in the pump impeller, not sure exactly what it was.
