1951 sea king/ gale prop

i purchesed a great runing 1951 sea king 5 hp for 15$ from the originall owner runs great but need to know where to buy a prop for a spare and where to rebuilt or new parts for the future if i need them

There were two 5hp sea kings in 1951. One had a neutral clutch and the other did not. They take different props. The neutral clutch model has the same lower unit (and prop) as a Johnson TN series. You will probably have to settle for used parts on that motor. A few parts are still available new such as ignition parts. Used parts are where you find them.

Those are good little motors, very reliable and if you take care of it your kids will be able to use it...provided there is any dino-juice left in the world then.
