It was a fun outing and the the boat performed great. I got her up to 27 mph (using GPS) in choppy water before the Wifie started getting nervous, 30 mph is for sure doable. Not bad for a 25 HP. I can't believe how small it looks in the pictures to feel so roomy inside. Maybe its because I'm used to the pictures of our other boat.

Thanks, being a mod is certainly a different perspective then before.

They are molded pleats into the vinyl and foam backing, but not the sewn together individual strips like in the old days. It's like what you see on newer center consoles, not what would have come in the original seating of the DuraCraft, but I didn't stay exactly within the "original" restoration guidelines with other parts either, Like the metallic paint. It's what they might call "restomod" LOL I just did what I liked.

Thanks Guys, it sure was fun to watch folks stop what they were doing and just watch us go by (could have been the wife they were looking at I suppose LOL) I will say though, I don't like the trailer much for loading, skinned the bottom in a couple places (can't see them, under water) just made me sick at the time, but I guess it's broke in now LOL
