1953 7.5 fleetwin (7512)

I am looking at a 1952 evinrude fleetwins lower end for my 1953 7.5 (7512)
just wanna make sure the 2 are compatable, thank you guys very much.

I think yopu will get more results in trhe Evinrude/Johnson section
or at www.aomci.org I think the early motors may have shared lowers with the 5.5.

As a unit, I think they are compatible. Not sure if they are mixable part-for-part, as they changed the clutch arrangement on them, but I don't recall what year...
