Mine is a '59 Newport. 15 1/2' I'm going to run a '59 Johnson RDSL-21 on it. Funny thing is, I bought the motor from my neighbor and found the boat a couple months later. Perfect match, because they're the same year and the boat happens to need a long shaft motor, which my '59 Johnson happens to be a factory long shaft, plus it has both the starter and generator. It'll be my prize package, once I get it all repainted. There's another member here (willingdad) who has a nicely restored Lone Star. They look nice all repainted.
