Hey all i just got a 1954 Fleetwin 7.5hp model 7514, I ran it in the bucket to test it and was fine just idleing, when i got it out on the river it ran well at first, i am posting a video of today's outting, when i was at a slow speed and went to accelerate the motor bogs down and eventually stalled... I plan to pull the carb and completely clean it and blow it out, i have also been reading up on the other posts on here as well... Thanks Jason

Has it been converted to a pump or still pressure tank, can't tell in the vid. Did you try adjusting the high speed needle to richen it up?

I was trying to adjust the knobs but im not sure how they should be set because they werent on the motor when i got it, the tank i have is a metal tank with a push button that you press until it becomes unpressable, not sure if thats a pressure tank or pump.

Is the pressure tank good? Is it maintaning pressure?

The top needles on has an affect at idle, the bottom one high speed. When it starts to bog at WOT turn the bottom knob 1/8 at a time till the motor starts running wide open, could just be an adjustment issue.
