The wooden block trick is just to jar the piston a little. Then soak it some more and try it again along with trying to get the flywheel to turn rocking it back and forth.

My javelin is still soaking in the mix, sometimes i try wd-40... I will remove the power head in the next month if it is still not moving.

I finally took off the power head and i used a wooden block to move the pistons. I was able to move them, but they are still stuck. What should i do?image.jpgimage.jpg

Are my eyes deceiving me or is the top cylinder look rusty?

Remove the gearcase to rule out it being stuck. Also remove recoil.

Then pull the powerhead and open her up if still needed.

No, it is just oil soaking in it.
I already took off the recoil and the lower unit and their not stuck.
The pistons moved a bit in each direction but they are still stuck...Do you know why and what i should do?
Thanks

looks pretty darned clean in there -- not much carbon buildup at all, although I know you have been soaking it. good that you removed the recoil and lower unit. I think I would stay with the soaking a bit, and periodically check to see if you can unstick it by bumping the flywheel clockwise by hand.
