i just bought a 1956 7.5 evinrude outbored motor the engine is really clean my problem is that the fuel connector along with the hose was missing so my question is if i just buy the 2way hose do i have to go buy the connector or can i just bypass it and run them direct thanks

If your question is can you fore-go the quick connect fitting and just attached your lines directly to the motor then the answer is yes. The quick connect is only there for convenience.
awesome yeah cause that connector is like $137 thats way to much im just gonna do it direct thanks for your help also would it be easy to do the single line with the fuel pump if so how do i go about it
I've been using the 2 line tanks since the 50's, never had a problem with them "Blowing out". I prefer the 2 line, but you can also use an electric fuel pump, but it must be the low press (4-6 psi) type. Yes you also need a battery to run it, but you've probly allready got one for your fish finder...
