Here's a thought: Put a 1974 25hp powerhead on a 1959 18hp leg. No modifications needed

The problem is that i have a '56 leg. Good thought though. A kid up the street tore up the crankshaft on his '58 18HP, and scrapped the whole thing. I asked him about it, but it was too late. The '59 doesn't look as nice as the older units. Rick
