Carb should not be so full at to get out that hole. Inlet needle & seat / float are not doing their job. Yeah, you gotta take it apart & fix it. OR are you mashing the primer bulb super hard? Don't.

Thanks for the tips regarding the stiff throttle. And I didn't think I mashed the primer bulb real hard. I felt it start to get a little stiff, but it never fully stiffened becuase with every additional squeeze the fuel would shoot out that top hole. Through this hole priming process at no point did any fuel get to the cylinders.(the plugs werent wet or smell).

Alright I have disassembled the carb and the problem is obvious. For 1 the high and low speed needles were stuck all cruddy and over tightened. Then I found the float is destroyed and the thing holding the float to the needle wasnt there so the needle wasnt operating I'm going to soak all the metal parts and do a full rebuild on it. I have a couple questions on how to do that so I think I'm going to make a new forum post. Thanks for all of the help everyone! 20190420_115715.jpg

Rebuild the carb and it will run. Get a good kit and be sure to pop the welsh plug on top and clean the chamber under it and the little holes for fine tuning. The kit comes with replacement plugs (slugs). I know it sounds complicated, but after you do it the light bulb will come on about how carbs work.

Don't forget to replace the float with the ethanol proof black float, it comes in the omc kit also

Alright I got the carb all apart. Everything is all ready for a good cleaning. I ordered the carb kit(with black float). Just need to clean the parts and do the kit when it gets here. I did take out the top "slug". Was a bit confused at first but everything is seeming to make sense now. Thanks everyone! Hopefully will get this old motor running good soon!
