1956 johnson 15 hp

The motor ran perfect for over an hour then I shut it off and wouldn't start. Back home there was no spark. Any suggetions

Might start by pulling the flywheel and checking the points, condensers and coils.

Thanks daviet that where I'm gonna start in the morn but its all new ignition so kinda confused its out of the blue just would not start after less 30 sec of being off.

Problem resolved(for now at least) pulled the wheel and found a sheared key, went ahead and checked it all over and now it runs.

What did you torque it to? Was it an OEM key, or did you use a hardware store key? Also buy an OEM key, hardware store ones fail every time. Ensure the taper is clean and dry, and torque to 45 ft/lbs
