Hi Rick,
I've got a bunch of parts for those old 7.5s. What part are you referring to as the bearing plate?
- Scott

Hi Chinewalker !
Thanks for the response. The motor I have Model# AD-10 has a plate under the water pump plate which houses the Shaft seal and the shaft bearing. It's not like my 18hp which just has the water pump housing and the thin plate under it. Hope your able to help me out.

Hi Rick,
I know the part you're talking about now - I don't have one. They are a frequent casualty when the lower driveshaft breaks. It forces the upper part of that shaft into the bushing on the underside of the plate and punches it upwards. I've got two lower units apart now with broken lower shafts and mangled bearing plates. Sorry....
Lower units turn up on eBay all the time for not too much money - it'd give you a bunch of good used parts, too.
Good luck!
- Scott
