1956 johnson cd 13 and 1957 cd 14 ?

how many parts on these two models are interchangeable? is a cd 14 that hasnt been running in a few years worth $225 if the seller cant get it to start? (just from pics it appears to be in fair condition)

The only thing I can say is that sounds like a lot for that engine, at least around my part of the country. You can compare part numbers between the two and see what interchanges.

Mechanically almost everything interchanges.

I would sell a mechanically running/restored CD for not much more than that. I would say the price is high. Might be something simple, likely faulty coils/dirty points if it is not sparking, but hard to tell without inspecting or more info.

Yes, most parts will swap over. $225 is not bad if it's running ok and includes the pressure tank. Make sure you get the dual line pressure tank also.
