getting ready to dive into my cd 13 resto ( writing my letter to santa!:p ) how many feet of plug wire should it take to replace both plug wires?.... at a glance it looks like 6 feet would do it, but dont want to run short, or waste to much.

hi nwcove. 6-7 feet of 7mm, copper wire should be plenty for both. NAPA usually sells it for about $3 a foot. Be sure to pick up a couple of 90 degree connectors and boots too. Oh, and make sure you twist the new wires on to the coil posts, rather than just poking them on there. Good luck!

5 feet will do it on a 5.5hp Just did a 40hp yesterday and it used only 5. Just make sure you match the length of the originals perfectly and you'll do good.
