1956 Mont Ward Outboard???

My grandmother passed and left behind what I am thinking is a 1956 Montgomery Ward outboard motor. Model# GG9002A and Serial# 55X597201. Everything looks like its greased and well kept. Any clue about how much this might be worth? Not thinking I want to sell it, just wondering if its worth looking at getting it fixed if needed.

Hm.m.m., those numbers shouldn't exist, but maybe they do. GG9002A is a 1956, but the 55X in the serial number says 1955.

Assuming it is a 1956, they are good motors and well worth investing a few bucks to restore it for daily use. But don't expect to retire on the profits.

Many, but not all, parts are same as the 1955 Johnson 5.5hp
