Ok, I have a 1957 electric start javelin 35hp, ran fine last year. I removed the motor and placed it in the garage over winter. painted and fixed up the boat. Finally I was able to put the motor back on the boat, wired it back together and it wont turn over. The starter will engage the fly wheel but that is it. I charged the battery, jumped straight to the starter same thing. Made sure it was in neutral and tried again, same thing. removed the plugs attempted to spin it. Fly wheel will move about two teeths worth then stop? Any suggestions what to look for or do next.
