Yup - first got it running. Needed new coils, points, wires and carb clean. Tried it out and it runs fine. So then I stripped it down and refinished it. So she should be ready to go in the Spring. My wife says it looks too good to use it. But, hey - that's what they're for. Maybe in another 50 years someone can restore it again:)

That is one super job you did on that motor i have a scott atwater 10 hp bail-0-matic im going to takle this winter with new water pump if i can find one and repaint it runs super now but wanta touch it up a little GOOD WORK

what is the difference (besides the name/color) and a Gale of the same year? - it looks like a twin of my old '59 Buccaneer.

Same - they were made in the Gale factory as far as I know.
