Just wondering if anybody could help me find a coil and/or carb for a 5hp Gale Buccaneer. I believe it is a 1957 model number 5D14B any help would be greatly appreciated
You can get the coil right here at iboats. Just get one for a Johnson or Evinrude. So you need a whole carburetor? Try a free want ad on the Webvertize page at the antique outboard club's website www.aomci.org. Offhand, I don't know if the Gale carb is totally the same as J/E 5.5 hp, but it is very similar. But if a carb kit will do, get that here at iboats also.
