I have a 1958 Evinrude Lark 35HP outboard motor that is in pretty damn good shape. It still has the original bronze prop on it. It was my grandfathers and has been passed down to me. I had it running about 3 years ago after puting a new impeller in it. I am quite positive with a touch of care and some fuel she would fire right up. I am curious what a motor of this age is worth? If anyone can give me a ballpart figure on this it would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Re: 1958 Evinrude Lark

Hi Tchrans12,
Value is purely subjective and open to many opinions. What sells for $500 one day doesn't even get a nibble at $250 the next.
If you're planning on using it, ditch the bronze prop and find an aluminum one. The bronze props are much harder on the expensive and hard to find clutch dog assembly...
