Working on a 1959 50HP V4 fat fifty. The last owner said it tried to run but the fuel pump was spitting gas out the sides.
According to my Seloc manual this fuel pump is not rebuildable, but rather, a replacement item.
I have attached a scan from the manual that shows a photo of the same pump that came with my motor.

My fuel pump came unattached from the motor as the previous owner had removed it.
I don't even know if this is the original fuel pump for this motor?
Laing's website lists a rebuild kit for a 1958 50HP fuel pump.
Is this what I need?
Is this the original fuel pump?
Any thoughts?
