1958 Lonestar Malibu

Hey guys. I picked up a '58 Lonestar Malibu the other day, Seems to be in great shape. It has a 65 or 66 Merc 350 35hp outboard on it. Just wondering if anyone has had experience with these boats/outboard, I'd like to know how they go so i can be excited for when it's completed. Thanks everyone in advance!

you should be excited. it is fun working and playing with it. enjoy it! my saratoga was a lot of fun getting it out of a barn, fixing it up and getting it on the water ( finally)

Nice looking old boat. I just got my 1957 Lonestar out on the water for the first time in 14 years. It started as an old Coast guard boat.
