1959 10hp Johnson Seahorse Parts Cross-Reference Help

I am trying to source an air silencer with mounting bolts, including as many other parts directly connected to it as possible. I'm missing one on the motor I bought. There have been some on ebay for my year motor, but in poor condition or missing hardware. There have been others from 1960 and 1956 in much better condition, and even included the carburetor itself, but I'm not sure if they'd fit my motor. I've looked at the parts catalog on marineengine.com, and have been able to rule some of these air silencers out based on some obvious differences, but would like to know if anyone has a parts distributor I can call or possibly another online source that can check on compatibility for parts for motors from different years. There's a 1960 carb and silencer on ebay right now that look really good. Thanks.

Look at the top of the page in the "Top Secret File", there is a list of salvage yards there, give some of them a call and see if they can help you out.
