Hi my problem is my motor has a really hard time to start. It will not start with the choke all the way closed, I have to open it just a hair. Once it get started it runs like a dream. Is there a trick to starting this thing. I have not taken it out fishing yet because I dont want to stop and end up spending 20min trying to start the thing back up. Any help will be appreciated.

Pull, clean and reinstall the carb.

Yup. Unfortunately, the re and re of the carb is harder than the actual rebuild of the carb. Especially if you have the generator model...

Yep...it takes longer to get to the carb to remove it, than to actually clean/rebuild it. Not difficult, just takes longer than the actual job.
